After three and a half years, I’ve listened to ‘Hyperview’ by Title Fight, at least once a week.
I hate that the album, from start to finish, is a bandage I keep ripping off and reapplying.
Such big memory
I remember waiting in line at GameStop until the doors opened at midnight to collect my reserved bundle with the 80 GB backwards compatible PS3. There were two people ahead of me, but because of technical difficulties, I got mine ahead of them, being the first one. I got home and immediately installed the game, recalling the loading screen with old Snake silently smoking. Upon playing, it was straight until Act 3. I used my sick days at work to request four days off to binge the game.
Took me 14 hours to beat. Can’t recall what title I received. To this day, I haven’t gotten tired from playing it, though maybe I’ve played thru entirely 15-20 times.
In retrospect, as good as I’ll admit the game is, it’s nothing but a con to favor the fan base. It wasn’t that climatic, but it just “felt good” to have closure to the series (before more prequels and TPP came to be).
Outta touch.
